Picture taken this afternoon during a short thunder storm which passed through Mississauga city center.
This picture was also featured on www.letsbewild.com as a Photo of the Day on May 30, 2012 :))))
I haven't had much time to update the blog lately but I decided to change it. Instead of doing big posts with a lot of pictures, which take a lot of time to prepare, I will post one picture at a time in a series called Picture of the Day (POTD). So to keep it nice and short, here is today's shot taken in a beautiful Chinese building close to Toronto.
To my own surprise I just found an article featuring my own website! Yes, the one you are on right now :) In that article makeuseof.com showcases some sites created using Weebly website builder. As pointed out by the author, Weebly has limited design options but regardless of that there are some websites which do not suck. My website is listed as number 9 :D Thank you makeuseof.com for this honorable mention! If you would like to read entire article please click here.
We left for Whistler in early December. We stayed there for a week and have enjoyed every little peace of our vacation. Everything came together for us and we had such a wonderful time. Below are couple of pictures from the trip. I love Whistler and the mountains so much I took much too many pictures. I will be posting them here in batches as I process them. Enjoy and make sure you visit Whistler! It is one of the best places in the world to visit if you love winter and winter sports.
A sneak preview of a photo shoot with one of the most talented house DJs and producers in GTA - Thierry Roland.
Arrowhead Provincial Park is located just north of Huntsville, Ontario. It is a multi-season attraction, featuring hundreds of wooded campsites, hiking and biking trails and cross-country ski trails. We got there on the last day of the season and were very lucky to get in. We took a rather short, but very scenic trail to Stabbs Falls. Every single leave in the park was either yellow, orange or red so the views were spectacular. The park made very good first impression so we will make sure to visit it again for a bit longer next year.
Sand Lake is a magical lake east of Algonquin Park very close to Kearney. It is very shallow and sandy and has two small islands; Blueberry and Emerald. The park we stayed at, Edgewater Park Lodge, had a beautiful scenery, calm lake, lots of birch trees, little cottages with muskoka chairs in front of each one to enjoy the view of the lake. Almost no one was at the resort that weekend and we got to enjoy an amazingly peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the place.
We went to Algonquin Park on Thanksgiving weekend. It was a middle of fall and we decided that was the best time to explore this wild bear country of Ontario. We couldn't be more lucky with the weather. It was sunny and hot all weekend long. We were lucky we took shorts and tank tops. On first day we went for a 8 km hike by Rain Lake which is a west gate to the park.
I have to share with you an exciting news. My website was shown on Weebly's blog as a featured photography webiste created using their service. How exciting is that! My site was picked out of million other sites on the portal. Thanks Weebly! I was so happy to read all the compliments and comments from other Weebly users. Life feels great again :) Click on the picture below to see the blog entry.
Couple of snapshots of the beautiful Hilton Falls conservation area in Milton, Ontario. The weather was gorgeous and the forest was magical. It is a great place for the sunny Sunday afternoon.
Fresh pictures from today's thunderstorm which went through Southern Ontario. It was quite an intense thunder storm and in fact I do not think it ended yet.
Our one day trip to Tobermore, Ontario, probably the most amazing place in this part of Canada! It is such a beautiful corner of Bruce Peninsula that you forget you are in Canada and think its somewhere closer to Carrabeans :) We had a blast and visited some neat corners of the provincial park. We will definitely come back there, cause there is so much more to see! On below pictures you can see Little Cove and Grotto and the best long weekend crew ever :-D
