We spent two days at Henry's Photography Show at International Center over the weekend. I loved the show this year! They had a lot of good deals on photo accessories and lighting. We attended a couple of seminars which are always interesting. It is a great opportunity to learn from the pros and hear the stories behind their pictures. 

I am currently upgrading my photo equipment so I had a chance to test  some lenses with my camera and ask some questions to the experts. I would not be that happy though if I didn't bring some of it home with me :). We got a new set of studio lighting which was greatly discounted and I can't wait to do a shoot with it. We also got the soft-box for the speedlight which is going to be very convenient for outdoor photography. It is like a mini studio which you can take with you wherever you go. I am excited to give it all a try when it stops raining. Long weekend is coming so it should be a good opportunity.

Yesterday the weather was just beautiful; it was around 20 degrees Celsius, sunny, with a light refreshing breeze. Just perfect! I took Frida, my Great Dane out for a walk by the creek at lunch. We were enjoying the weather and exploring the awakening nature, Frida with her nose and me with my camera :). Documentation is below; lots of bright colors to compensate for the winter grayness :)
